Frequent travellers should also remember that jet-lag can cause interrupted and flying across time zones can out body clocks and usual patterns.

This is caused by the nuclei in the brain which control the human body clock being out of phase with real time because they react to and dark. In different time zones, and dark at different times and confusing messages to the nuclei.

Jet-lag is worse for people travelling east across time zones, for example from Los Angeles to London. It is best remedied by trying to avoid in the mornings and seeking it out in the afternoons and early evenings for a few days to your body time to re-adjust slowly.
