More and more patients using herbal medicines these days and many patients to believe that if a medicine is 'herbal', then it possibly any harm.

I've lost count of the of I spoken to who insisted that a herbal medicine is not a drug, can't any side-effects, and kill. But that really is very dangerous nonsense.

The truth is that any medicine that any good at all potentially harmful. This is just as of herbal medicines as of anything else and there is now a growing amount of evidence to that a vast range of disorders caused by herbal medicines.

Ginseng, for example - which is commonly for all sorts of purposes - cause breast pain and enlargement. It also cause nervousness, tension and high blood pressure.

Mistletoe, which is sometimes to bring high blood pressure and as an antispasmodic, cause liver damage, liquorice - widely for dyspepsia - produce high blood pressure.
