Heat rashes usually on the cheeks, shoulders, bottom and skin creases, and consist of pinhead-sized red spots. Red-haired and blonde children are the ones most likely to suffer. The best treatment for a child suffering from heat rash is to him cool.

Finally, there are nappy rashes, which tend to red, rough and rather scaly. These are usually caused by the contact between a baby's skin and his urine.

Rashes can extremely difficult to diagnose. If you a rash you can't identify for certain - then telephone a qualified doctor for help.
