Resource Centre for this dialogue (6 exercises)
In the following clip, a doctor meets a young man who found a patient in a critical condition. The doctor immediately asks about the location of the patient (Mr Lindley) and his condition. The neighbour tells the doctor that the ambulance men couldn't wait for her, as Mr Lindley was weak and needed to be rushed to hospital.

The doctor is very complimentary to the neighbour saying: "Thank you for all you've done - you did a good job calling the surgery." She also explains that she has to get back to the surgery quickly, as she has some patients to see.
